What is Hostel-movement?
Hostel-movement unites people of all nations with no distinction of their race, nationality, colour, religion, sex, class or political opinions.
So those people who like travelling but limited in their means can stay in hostels. Hostels are cheap accommodation centers. Here you can be always provided with clean bed, breakfast and hot shower. Hot and cold water is always available. In the majority hostels breakfast is included in the accommodation price. In any case hostel must have a kitchen. Hostels are always clean and have more strict rules than five-stars hotels. In many hostels abroad you are not allowed to smoke, in some places men and women can't live on the same floor, you have to return to the hostel till midnight and you are not permitted to stay in the hostel after 11 a.m., because floors and lavatories are washed at this time. The client can leave his (or her) luggage in the checkroom and take it any time he (or she) likes. In the cities hostels are open 24 hours a day and in small towns they may be closed during the night. Check in and check out time is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.. The IYHF today offers nearly 4 thousand 5 hundred hostels in over 60 countries world wide.
If you have some questions connected with Hostel-movement I shall be glad to answer them.
