18.12.03: From November, 28 till December, 03, 2003, in Budapest (Hungary) there held the Second Central and East European Training Seminar organized by the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) on the topics: “History & Philosophy” and “Sales Strategies”.

10.11.03: From October, 23 till October, 26, 2003 in Prague (Czech Republic) there held an AGM (Annual General Meeting) organized by the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) where representatives from Central and East–European Youth Hostel Associations made their reports on the work of their Associations during the previous year.

15.10.03: Project "Baltic Associations", the purpose of which is to give the full information on opportunities of inexpensive rest in Russia and Baltic region, continues to develop.

24.09.03: On the 15th of September 2003 Youth Hostels Association of Russia (YHAR) launched the new project “YHAs News Worldwide”.

20.01.03: From January, 16 till January, 19, 2003, in Helsinki (Finland) there held the International Travel Fair "MATKA-2003".
