04.12.06: From 24th till 25th November, 2006 delegation of the Finnish Youth Hostel Association (SRM) and one representative from Germany (manager of one of the Hamburg's Hostels) visited Saint-Petersburg.

08.11.06: According to the invitation of the German Youth Hostel Association (DJH), Yulia Zubareva, President of the Youth Hostels Association of Russia (YHAR), and Alexandra Luttseva, YHAR National Quality Coordinator, visited Germany from the 19th to 24th October 2006.

26.07.06: The 46th International Conference of the IYHF took place in Davos, Switzerland, from the 12th to 16th of July 2006.

26.07.06: From the 16th to the 18th of June 2006 in Sofia (Bulgaria) there was held the IYHF Central & East European Regional Committee Meeting.

24.05.06: From the 5th to the 7th of May, 2006 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia there was held the Board Meeting of the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF).

24.05.06: From April 28th till May 1st, 2006 the DJH Board members visited Saint-Petersburg.

24.05.06: From the 16th to the 20th of April, 2006 Mr. Goran Beus Richembergh, IYHF CEE Development Co-ordinator, visited Russia in order to make a last check of the YHA of Russia as the recent applicant for theFull Membership status in IYHF.
